Advanced Techniques:
Match Your Equipment
Just like it is important to put the right kind of
ammunition in your firearm, it is just as important to match your bowhunting
equipment.
There are three ways bowhunting equipment must be properly
matched:
 Bow
matched to bowhunter - must select a bow that fits your size, strength
and shooting style;
Arrows
matched to bow and shooter - must have the correct spine (stiffness)
and length;
Arrows
matched to each other - you should not mix different arrow types. Different
arrows don't fly alike or hit the same place.
In addition, you should match all your equipment to the type of game
you intend to hunt. Larger game may need heavier equipment and broadheads
that penetrate the body better.
