Treestands
The
use of treestands for hunting is becoming more popular each year. Hunting
from an elevated position has many advantages. Hunters place themselves
in trees to improve their field of view and to reduce the chances of being
detected by game. Treestand hunting also provides safer and more effective
shot angles. Unfortunately, these advantages are overshadowed by the additional risk of falling from a treestand. Several states report the number of treestand falls now rival firearm incidents as the leading cause of serious injuries. The proper use of treestand equipment will help to prevent these injuries or even death!
