Think Safety First When Picking a Campsite!

 Don't camp in bottoms of canyons or deep arroyos. They may flood, leaving you wet, cold and uncomfortable or create a serious emergency.

These areas are unsafe campsites, even if the sky overhead is clear. Water travels fast. If it's raining upstream it could flood your camp.
