Size:

  • 17 to 21 in. (43 to 53 cm).
  • Weighs about 3 to 7 lb. (1.3 to 3.1 kg).

Distribution in North America:

Habitat:

Open, grassy, or sparsely vegetated areas.

 

Notes:
  • Most active from evening to late morning.
