Habitat:
- Prefers estuaries, lagoons, mudflats and shallow bays, but will also live in fields, marshes, lakes and slow-moving rivers.
- Eats mostly green leaves, insects, aquatic plants and aquatic invertebrates. Will eat grass, seeds and grain in autumn.
